Configuration

Overview

Under the Configuration section, administrators can manage asset categories, including creating, updating, and maintaining relevant data. Additionally, this section allows admins to configure email notifications related to asset activities.

The Asset Logs section enables administrators to view and track the current status of all assets, providing visibility into asset history, assignments, and overall lifecycle.

Asset Category and type

In this section, the admin has the ability to generate multiple asset categories. Within these categories, the admin can create various asset types tailored for organizational purposes.

While creating asset type, the admin can choose an icon from the icon repository that represents the specific asset. The admin then fills in the asset description and defines the asset category.

Asset Logs

The Asset Logs section provides the admin with detailed and organized information regarding all organizational assets. This includes:

Asset Type
Asset ID
Asset Description
Asset Category
Asset Location

This log helps in efficient tracking, auditing, and management of assets across departments.

Asset PR (Purchase Request)

An Asset PR (Purchase Request) is created by the admin when there’s a need to procure a new asset. Once submitted, the request is forwarded directly to the Purchasing Department, ensuring a streamlined procurement process aligned with organizational requirements.

To raise a PR, the admin must click on “Raising PR Request” and fill out key details such as:

Asset Type and Category
Estimated Budget
PR Value
Number of Units
