Appreciation

The Appreciation module under Engage helps organizations cultivate a culture of recognition by enabling transparent, timely, and visible appreciation for employees across levels. From viewing analytics to configuring custom badges, the admin dashboard offers everything needed to manage appreciation initiatives effectively.

Split into three views: DashboardSelf, Team, Organization

Dashboard

 Dashboard – Analytical View

  • Categories: Champion, Going Above & Beyond, Team Player, etc.

  • Track Recognition Stats by individual, department, or organization

  • Filters: Month-wise search

    The Appreciation Dashboard gives a real-time overview of how actively employees are recognizing and being recognized within the organization. It offers visual insights through cards and trend charts.

    • Total Appreciations: Displays the overall appreciation activity and comparison

    • Top Badge Used: Champion – Shows the most frequently awarded badge, helping track which value or behavior is being recognized most.

    • Top Appreciated Employee: Highlights who received the most appreciation this month, encouraging healthy competition and performance.

    • Department Engagement: Helps identify which departments are actively using the appreciation feature and which ones need encouragement. 

    • Department-Wise Appreciation Chart
    • Visual distribution of appreciations across departments to spot trends and gaps.
    • Shows peak days for appreciation activity to strategize internal campaigns.
    • Day-Wise Appreciation Chart

Self – Employee-Level Appreciation

This section lets users view or give appreciation to/from other employees at an individual level.

Features:  

  • Filter Options: Month-wise search to check appreciation history. 
  • Given & Received Tabs: Employees can see what badges they’ve received or given and when.

Helps employees reflect on their contributions and build stronger peer connections. 

Organization – Org-Wide Overview

This tab provides organization-level appreciation stats, giving admins a birds-eye view of overall engagement. 

Features: 

  • Similar appreciation categories as Self. 
  • Search and filter data across departments or designations. 
  • View monthly summary of all recognitions awarded in the org. 

Helps leadership and HR assess if appreciation is distributed evenly and fairly across all levels. 

Badges – Configuration & Management

Badge Configuration: 

  • Create New Badge: Add a logo, title, description, and appreciation message. 
  • Set Status: Mark badge as DEFAULT or Custom. 
  • Notifier: Enable Appreciation Notifier to alert Reporting Managers (RM) when employees are recognized. 

Customizes recognition to align with company goals, and lets admins track which behaviors are being appreciated most.
