Dashboard


The Zimyo Travel Desk dashboard provides a comprehensive overview of travel management, including:
- Request Raised this month:
Shows the total number of new travel requests submitted in the current month. - Request Approval Rate:
Displays the percentage of travel requests that have been approved out of the total submitted. - Approved Requests Pending for Booking:
Indicates the number of approved travel requests that are still awaiting booking. - Travels Booked this month:
Shows the total number of travel bookings completed in the current month. - Month Wise Travel Spending:
Graphically displays the organization’s travel expenses for each month, helping track spending trends over time. - Category Wise Travel Spending:
Breaks down travel expenses by category (such as transport mode or trip type) for a detailed view of where money is being spent. - Travel Booking Status:
Visualizes the current status of all travel requests (e.g., pending, booked, rejected) in a pie or bar chart. - Request Raised by Department:
Shows which departments have raised travel requests and how many, enabling departmental analysis. - Category Booking Over Time:
Tracks how different travel categories are booked across a timeline, revealing booking trends by type.
Booking

- Search
- Allows users to quickly find specific bookings using keywords or filters.
- Department, Designation, Location, Entity, Shift (Filters)
- Dropdown filters to narrow down bookings by department, employee designation, work location, company entity, or shift.
- Select Date / Status
- Filter bookings by a specific date range and by status (e.g., All, Booked, Pending).
- Travel ID
- A unique identifier automatically assigned to each travel request or booking for easy tracking and reference.
- Travel Title
- The subject or name given to the travel request, usually describing the purpose or destination of the trip.
- Travel Date
- The scheduled date(s) for the travel, showing both start and end dates.
- Categories Selected
- Indicates the type of travel or mode selected (e.g., train, flight, hotel), often represented by icons.
- Request Approver
- The name(s) of the person(s) responsible for approving the travel request.
- Raised By
- Displays who submitted or initiated the travel request.
- Approved Advance
- Shows any advance payment or funds approved for the trip, if applicable.
- Booking
- Indicates the number of bookings completed versus the total required (e.g., 1/1 Done, 0/1 Done).
- Booking Status
- The current status of the booking (e.g., Booked, Pending), often color-coded for quick recognition.
- Action Menu (Three Dots)
- Clicking the three dots opens a menu with further actions:
- Add Booking Details: Enter or update additional booking information.
- Mark Travel as Booked: Confirm and update the status to “Booked.”
- Reject: Decline the booking request.

- Rows per page / Pagination Controls
Allows users to set how many bookings are displayed per page and to navigate between pages of results. - Export to Excel Icon
Clicking this icon exports the current list of bookings to an Excel file for offline analysis or reporting.
Configuration

- Define Category
Set up and manage different travel categories (e.g., flight, hotel, taxi).
To add a new category the user needs to click category under define category in general settings, then click add new category and add the required details and click Submit.

Create and manage rules for travel advances, such as eligibility and limits.
Path: To add advance rule Click Advance Rule under define configure advance rule in general category>Click add rule> Fill Details>Submit - Set Timeframe for planning future travels
Specify how far in advance employees can plan or request future travel. - Allow Employees to raise travel request for past dates
Enable or disable the option for employees to submit travel requests for dates in the past. - Employee can raise travel requests for same day and upto [X] past dates
Set the number of days in the past for which employees are allowed to raise travel requests. - Travel Assistance Request Notification
Configure notifications for when employees request help regarding travel, including who should be notified (e.g., HOD, others). - Notify Others
Add additional recipients (by email) to receive travel assistance notifications. - Work Details Notification
Enable notifications related to work details associated with travel. - Enable Advance Rule
Activate or deactivate the advance rule for travel requests.
