Configuration

The Employee Configuration section offers a comprehensive set of tools to manage and personalize employee-related settings in the system. These settings help ensure compliance, improve user experience, and provide flexibility for organizational requirements.

General Settings:
Core HR> Employee > Configuration > General SETTINGS

Employee Code & Unique Identifier: Set rules for generating employee codes and manage unique references for each employee.

Property Library: Create and manage properties(i.e. input fields that can be used in multiple dynamic forms) that can further be imported into organisation units and forms library.

Team & Probation Settings: Define team structures and configure probation rules.

Mobile Settings: Enable and customize mobile app behavior for employees.

Appraisal Reminder Applicability: Determine when and to whom appraisal reminders should be sent.

Employee Settings:

Core HR> Employee > Configuration > Employe Settings

Enable Edit Profile Checker – Tracks when employees make changes to their profiles.

Display Only RM-Designated Employees Under Task Assignment – Limits task assignments to employees under the same Reporting Manager.

Enable Entity-Wise Dashboard Configuration – Allows dashboards to be customized per entity.

Enable Two-Factor Authentication – Adds extra security to employee login via two-step verification.

Enable Business Code – Activates the use of a business code field (e.g., 123456).

Set Minimum Age Limit for Employee – Sets the minimum allowable age for creating an employee (e.g., 18 years).

Enable Employee Creation for Past Dates – Allows creation of employee records with a joining date in the past (e.g., up to 90 days).

Set Retirement Age for Employees – Defines the retirement age for employees (e.g., 0 means not set).

Restrict Timeline Visibility in Employee Profile for SubAdmin/Admin – Hides the profile timeline from SubAdmins/Admins as needed.

Show Employee Directory to Employees Toggle Allows employees to view the Employee Directory.
Show Organisation Chart Toggle Allows employees to view the Organisation Chart.
Define Employee of Highest Hierarchy for Organisation Chart Manage → Define Highest Hierarchy Select the employee who appears at the top of the Organisation Chart.
Exclude Employee from Org Chart Click on + Add icon Add employees to be excluded from the Organisation Chart.
Set Default Organisation Chart & Employee Directory View / + Add Set default display of Org Chart & Directory.
Manage Employee Data Permissions – Celebration Widget Admin Panel Control employee data visibility in the Celebration widget on dashboard. Company Level / Department / Location
