How to set minimum hours for full day or half day, required to acquire Compensatory Off

To set the minimum hours required for acquiring comp-off when configuring shifts, it’s essential to strike a balance between flexibility and operational needs. First, consider the workload and ensure that any adjustments to hours don’t disrupt daily operations. For half-day comp off, we typically recommend a minimum of four hours worked, while for full day, it’s 8 hours generally.
